Why we chose our name... In the Bible, Luke 1:38 says "Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; (let it be done) to me according to your word". This is Mary's response to the angel Gabriel, who told her that she would give birth to Jesus, the son of God. Mary's response was described as obedient and accepting of God's will. In Latin the word "Fiat" means, "Let it be done"

Soft Washing: The Safest and Most Effective Way to Clean Your Home's Exterior
Soft washing is the ideal solution for cleaning the exterior of your home. Unlike traditional pressure washing, which can cause damage to surfaces and landscaping, soft washing uses specialized, low-pressure equipment and eco-friendly cleaning solutions that are designed specifically for this purpose.
How Soft Washing Works:
- Application of Solution: We begin by applying a carefully formulated cleaning solution to the exterior of your home. This solution is designed to target and kill organic matter such as mold, mildew, algae, and other contaminants that can accumulate on your home’s surfaces.
- Breaking Down Dirt and Grime: The solution also works to break the surface tension of dirt and grime, making it easier to remove without any abrasive action or high pressure.
- Low-Pressure Rinse: After allowing the solution to do its work, we use a low-pressure rinse—equivalent to the pressure of a typical garden hose. This gentle technique ensures that the dirt and organic buildup are rinsed away safely, without the risk of damage to your home or landscaping.
- Protection for Plant Life: Our process is also designed to be plant-friendly. We take extra care to protect your garden and greenery, ensuring they are not harmed during the cleaning process.

Concrete Cleaning Process
We take extra precautions with your concrete surfaces, especially when dealing with newly poured concrete. For concrete that is less than four years old, we avoid using high pressure, and use cleaning solutions and low pressure only, to preserve the delicate "creme coating" on the surface. For concrete surfaces older than four years, we use high-pressure techniques via a pressure washing wand and surface cleaner to effectively remove dirt, grime, and stains. As with all porous surfaces, we can not guarantee that all deep stains such a as oil, rust, and grease can be completely removed with our "standard cleaning process"; these may require a special treatment.
Post-Cleaning Treatment
After thoroughly cleaning and rinsing the concrete, we apply a specialized algicide solution to target and eliminate mold, mildew, algae, and other contaminants deep within the pores of the concrete. This not only ensures a cleaner surface but helps maintain its cleanliness for longer, preventing future buildup.

Hi, I’m Bobby Tierney, the proud owner of Fiat Pressure & Soft Washing, which I started in 2024. While continuing my full-time role as a law enforcement officer in the Acadiana area, I’ve been fortunate to serve my community for the past 16 years. Serving my community and spending quality time with my family are two things I cherish deeply—and, of course, there's another passion of mine: Pressure Washing!
What began as a hobby—soft washing houses and cleaning concrete for friends and family—quickly grew into a thriving business. After investing time, research and advanced training, I decided to pursue this venture, and I haven’t looked back. The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and I feel truly blessed to be doing what I love.
